The Venco Campus is the new, egg-shaped home of the Venco Group, measuring around 30.000 m2. Sustainability, innovation, flexibility and transparency were the starting point for this future-proof building. The project has been awarded with a BREAAM Outstanding (5-star) certification and an expert panel (chaired by professor Lichtenberg) has concluded that the design and construction of the Venco Campus is a fine example of sustainable building.
The ambitions have been achieved partly by using the Slimline floor system. Slimline contributes to sustainability with its low self-weight and reduced material use. Innovation is supported by utilizing the hollow floor as plenum. By combining Slimline with a raised floor, all installations are permanently accessible which results in flexible floors layouts and optimal adaptability. Lastly, large column-free spans are achieved with a slender floor, which emphasizes the slenderness and transparency of the design.
