In this oval office, designed by Böhtlingk Architecture, the Slimline floor system is seamlessly integrated in a sustainable environment. The basic form of the building is an oval, and the sunshade on the outside wall follows this shape. In this project, the Slimline elements have been adjusted to fit the oval shape as well.
One of the outstanding features is the enormous amount of daylight entering the building. This results in significant savings on the use of energy, whereas the energy for working increases in turn. The new headquarters achieves high energy efficiency scores all around: geothermal energy and natural cooling have been applied, the triple glass of the building is self-cleaning, solar panels have been installed on the roof and high isolation properties result in very high energetic levels.
