Full freedom of layout

When Using Slimline, users can decide on the final floor layout up to a very late stage of the construction process. Unrestricted by any standard, they can be offered a large degree of freedom in creating the layout. This also applies to the size and position of for example a kitchen or bathroom.

Comfortable

By applying (dual) thermal activation, a room can be cooled from the ceiling and heated from the subfloor. This results in, for example, a comfortably cool bedroom in the summertime without the use of an air-conditioning unit.

Freedom of design

Slimline enables the realization of exceptional designs and structures. For example, the relatively low floor weight allows large cantilevers and free spans. It also makes it possible to create more on existing foundation. Slimline also offers structural solutions to cope with, for example, diaphragm action and torsion.

Better indoor climate

Slimline allows you to conveniently integrate (dual) thermal activation. The combination of radiant heating from the subfloor, cooling from the ceiling and a fast response time is perceived as being very comfortable by users.

Acoustic decoupling

High fire-resistance

Slimline has a documented fire resistance in excess of 145 minutes, which results from multiple tests by the certified bodies Efectis and TNO, performed on a composite floor under load. For more information about fire resistance, please refer to the Documents section.

Customer decoupling point late in construction process

Using the Slimline floor system, the user can decide on the final floor layout and applicable building installations up to a very late stage of the construction process. These choices can be postponed because (sections of the) subfloor can be installed at the last moment.

Lower failure costs

When applying Slimline, the construction process can be set up much more efficiently. Construction is faster using dry, self-supporting prefabricated elements and the amount of materials supplied to the site is reduced. The elements are instantly walkable, which means finishing can take place before installing the subfloor. These are examples of construction process optimizations which result in a substantially lower risk of failure costs compared to traditional methods.
